Who are the people behind this kind of criminal activity?

And how is it organised? These and other questions regarding the organisation of trafficking in human beings for sexual exploitation are answered in this report. This is the final report from a joint research project about the organisation and structure of criminal networks involved in trafficking for sexual exploitation in Sweden, Finland and Estonia.

The project was carried out in 2007—2008 by the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (Brottsförebyggande rådet, Brå) together with the European Institute for Crime Prevention and Control (HEUNI), Finland, and the Institute of Law at Tartu University in Estonia.
